TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – PART OF SARSON LANE AMPORT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 that The Borough Council of Test Valley as agent for Hampshire County Council (being the Traffic Authority) proposes to make an Order to allow safe access to repair overhead cable in the verge/carriageway :-
ROADS TO BE CLOSED Part of Sarson Lane from Sarson Close to a point 630 metres north.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTES For southbound traffic from the northern point of closure, north on Sarson Lane, west on A303, south on Wiremead Lane, east on Monxton Road and north on Sarson Lane to the southern point of closure.
For northbound traffic from the southern point of closure, south on Sarson Lane, east on Amport Road, further east on Andover Road/Monxton Road, at 100 acre roundabout west on A303 and south on Sarson Lane to the northern point of closure.
PERIOD OF ORDER From Monday 28 May 2018 for a period of one month or until completion of work, whichever comes first.
DURATION OF WORKS The road is expected to be closed from 28 May 2018 for 3 days between 9.30 a.am and 3.30 p.m. each day.
Pedestrian and reasonable access to adjoining properties will be available.
